The game below is from the second round of the private tournament called szybkielanie. This is still ongoing tournament at the Queen Alice Internet Chess Club. After two rounds I have one win and one draw which is a decent score at this point. Thinking time for these games is seven days for each move. If I have understood this tournament correctly, there are four rounds played in this tournament, which means that I have only two games left for me to play. This game was one of those where I did not have much the whole game, I even was worse at some points but managed to fight a draw. My opponent offered the draw and after some consideration on my part I took it because the game seemed to reach a point where everything was too simplified and win would not be at all likely to be achieved. I have added one mate in one, two mate in twos, one mate in four and one mate in five puzzle today.

I played one more 15 minute rapid tournament at the FIDE Online Arena yesterday and after a long break, I was able to play a good tournament. I was able to increase both my monitored and unmonitored rating which rarely happens. I usually manage to lose the official monitored games by playing like an idiot but this time I played well enough to gain some rating points. I will play one tournament again today and if all things go well, most of my games will be monitored and count towards the official rating. It is quite unlikely thing to happen as I seem to face the only few people who do not have an official elo rating in the tournament more often than the ones that have an official elo rating. I think I played one rapid tournament last Friday where it was only for FIDE Online Arena players and even then there were unrated players that did not count towards the official game count. Until tomorrow, my fellow chess enthusiasts!
